XAct:Diagnostics:EnterpriseLibrary
Summary
An assembly that wraps just the logging aspects of Enterprise Library.
I'm of two minds on this assembly. For one, most shops I've seen EntLib used in, only use 10% of it. The logging part. Hence this assembly which focuses on using just that part.
Future Considerations
On the other hand, although most users only need 10% of EntLib, strikes me the assembly should be more of a XAct.3rdParty.EntLib asembly, than just a Dianostics one. Maybe in the future I need to create XAct.3rdParty.EntLib to protect the app from any 3rd party vendor, and then rejig this assembly to use functionality in that assembly. It's a thought…
