• Pros /Cons:

* Con: It's an old project, getting a bit long in the tooth. Thare are more modern solutions.

• Con: Works directly with FileSystem, requireing IOPermissions.
• Con: Works with FileNames, not FileStreams.
• Pro: It's a well-tested strategy.
• Pro: not dead, and it has a very useful place.
