Summary

Web Deploy (msdeploy) simplifies deployment of Web applications to IIS servers.

Note:Most dev's know it as WebDeploy -- but it's important to note that there is no WebDeploy product -- it's reallymore of a marketing term for how Visual Studio/IIS *use* MSDeploy.exe

Description

It is a CLI/ application.
It's the CLI/ tool that IT:AD:WebDeploy invokes within the *.cmd script that IT:AD:Visual Studio creates when you select Create/Publish Package.
