Summary
During Randori, while you are being constantly dropped on the floor, and struggling to drop the other person, it's sometimes hard to remember that there is a syllabus.
And for each belt there is a set of moves that you have to progress through.
Notes
White Belt
- Terms: Judo, Dojo, Tatami, Judogi, Sempai, Sensei, Kyu, Dan, Obi, Matte, Rei.
- Ukemi:
- Koho Ukemi (back & sides)
- Zempo Ukemi (front rolling into lying position)
- Kumi Kata (basic gripping techniques):
- Shizei (standing):
- Shizentai: natural forward position (loose upright stance)
- Jigontai: left/front position (lowered balance stance)
* Shintai (movement):
- Ayumi Ashi
- Tsugi Ashi

- Kuzushi (break balance):
