- Investors invest in Winners, Truthfullness, Market
Investors invest in lines. Not Dots. Take it slow. Investment is all about building trust and relationship building. It takes time.
Concentrate on getting revenue: the company with no revenue and a $150k burn rate that raised $2.5 million and has 4 months cash left. If you had $75k revenue / month you’d have 8 months cash left in stead of 4. And maybe by the time you got near month 8 you’d be at $110k / month and only burning $40k. Duh.

## About Selling ##
- Very very good read: http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/2012/09/24/y-combinator-launchpad/
- “ The other major lesson was persistence — recognizing that failure was more than 80% of the game. Getting rejected wasn’t fun, but this early baptism by fire inoculated me against the fear of rejection.”
- “How many of you want to be salespeople?” No hands go up. “Fine. How many of you want to be master dealmakers?” Nearly every hand goes up.
That’s when I point out that they are one and the same. Whether you want to sell an idea, a start-up, or yourself as an employee, you better learn to negotiate and craft deals. Not only that, but you better get used to pain. It will become your constant companion, a trusted friend. A signal that you’re getting stronger.
## SASS ##
Great reasons as to why sell SASS rather than Product IT:AD:Patterns:SASS
