Regarding Configuration: Where do I find the the MetaBase.xml?

Look here:

“C:\Windows\system32\inetserv\”

But before you edit it, open IIS and right click the server and select properties.

Check the box that says “Allow changes to the MetaBase.xml”. If you don’t, you will find the MetaBase.xml is locked. But note that when you edit it, you won't be able to save it, unless you've gone back to INETMGR and on the IIS server node, checked the 'Allow

Regarding Configuration: How can I rename a virtual app? Can't seem to do it from within INETMGR…??? You have to edit it in the MetaBase.xml file (see the other faq about editing it).
