Behaviors must not contravene Organisation Principles if any have been defined.

The preference for Behaviours may be influenced by a desire to distance the Organisation from defining Principles as Norms.

Behaviour may be driven by 3 forces:

Human NatureCulturePersonalityBehaviour

Although both Human Nature and Personal Behaviour are both interesting in their own right, in the context of business the focus is on how to foster the most appropriate Culture.

Human Nature has many characteristics. Some are especially pronounced in humans (Playfulness, Epicurean, Legislative, Clandestine, Gossipy)1), as well as driven by 4 key drivers (acquiring, bonding, learning, and defending)2).

Given time and resources, it can be molded. But it is everyone's job in an organisation (certainly not just HR's!) to be on the lookout for potential coworkers who can share the same values.
