Summary

A lot of marketing is spent by corporations to make you feel dissatisfied with your weight. But that's just it: it's their created opinion. What's yours? Is it based on fact, or programming?

Your weight is only relevant in two regards: is it healthy? does it show your character?

The first is a simple enough concept: putting on fat means your heart has to pump harder to get blood through fat clogged and fat squished arteries. You live shorter if you are fat.

The second is much more complex. The reality is that people value highly that which is rare. Putting on weight is easy: anybody can do it. Keeping yourself trim takes…stamina, sacrifice, control, enjoyment of the present. Every mouthful you eat you have to savour what you allow yourself to eat. And before satiated, you have sacrifice getting that feeling, and cut yourself off. That takes…control. And you have to do that day in day out, while you watch people around yourself gorge themselves.

It's frankly…hard to get started. But once started, it's a habit. And habits are easy to maintain.

The reason it's important that you control your desires is nothing to do with the corporations who want to make money over your failures to understand why should do it (trust me, they have no desire that you actually do lose weight, just that you want to lose weight). It has to do with knowing you can succeed at controlling yourself.

And others recognize this control - and desire it.

So…eat less…and if you've gone over board, you can remove it.
