Software can be distributed in a couple of ways:

• Adhoc:
  • Runable on only a small pool of UUIDs. Up to 100 per year (adding/removing still counts towards that max allowed).
  • You add/remove UUIDs by going to AppStore/iOS Provisioning Portal/Devices tab.
  • Just adding a Device Name/ID to the list does not enable the device for testing (see below, Provisioning Profile).
