IT:AD:WebDeploy:Publishing

There are several protocols that one can use to publish.

• File Protocol is nice and easy in the intranet, and can be used almost immediately.
• Using the …. is where you want to get to, in order to emulate what it will take to publish to a production server. But it certainly takes more thought.

Publish by right-clicking the project, selecting Publish, and choosing the Protocol. The easiest, in an intranet, is File:

  • Publish Metod: FileSystem
  • Target: \\258SPIKES\Snz.ics\ST
  • Replace matching files
  • Save!
  • Publish…
