MSDN documentation -- and the many blog pages spun off from it -- can cause confusion between terms such as *Account*/*Subscription* and *Owner*/*Administrator*.

The *correct* term for the [[IT/AD/Azure/Account/|Account]] that owns a [[IT/AD/Azure/Subscription/|Subscription]] and manages billing, is [[IT/AD/Azure/Security/Role/Account Administrator/|Account Administrator (AA)]].
